83 Futures
Young men register to be organ donors at the lowest rate of any group. And while they won’t take 5 minutes to register, they’ll wait for hours for the latest sneaker or streetwear drop. Many often express on social how they’d “give a kidney” for what they want. So we wondered if we could get them to literally give a piece of themselves for a life-saving drop.
That’s how we created 83 Futures — a streetwear brand so named because just one donor can save and heal 83 lives. But the only way to get the drops is to register to become an organ donor, making it the most exclusive streetwear brand in the world. You have to literally give your organs for our products.
We did collaborations with 10 well-established streetwear brands like Staple, Primitive and Skull Candy, and launched 83 Futures at the world’s biggest streetwear, sneaker and hip hop festival: ComplexCon.
The brand won the PR Week Multicultural Campaign of the Year, won a Fashion Design Cube at ADC, and shortlisted at The One Show.
