Give a Shit for Good

A lot of people give a shit about LGBTQ rights, but we wondered if they would give an actual shit to help protect those rights. We worked with LGBTQ rights organization Tie The Knot, founded by TV’s Jesse Tyler Ferguson, to create a messaging bot that allowed people to send us poop emojis, and every emoji they sent was worth a $1 donation to the ACLU. We launched the campaign at a press event and party at The Tie Bar’s pop-up shop on Christopher St. in New York City during the 50th anniversary of WorldPride. And plenty of celebs got in on the act, including George Takei, Kerry Washington and Lance Bass, who gave a lot of shits.
