“Smash The Rainbow”

Skittles has a proud history of great 30-second spots. So, when we had the privilege of working on the brand, it was important for us to evolve the work and do more than just a spot. Using YouTube annotation we were able to let users control what Tommy got to break in his Grandma's house.

The TV commercial won a Cannes Lion in the Film category and was a Webby Nominee. The interactive YouTube video was also a Webby Honoree and got covered by Mashable, Ad Age, and was in the Creativity Top 5 during the week of Cannes.

Skittles "Figurines" :30 TV

Using YouTube annotations we allowed viewers to smash whatever figurines they wanted, each with a different Skittles-y result.
