TimberlandPRO
“Always Do. Never Done.”
I’ve often thought about how worthless my advertising skills would be in a zombie apocalypse. (Although the case study for how an activation helped solve the zombie problem could be pretty compelling.) Anyway, I thought about that a lot while working on TimberlandPRO, the blue collar division of Timberland, since they provide workwear and boots for the skilled laborers of America — all those overlooked workers who have real talent and skill and keep the world moving.
So we set out to film real workers doing their real jobs in the most heroic ways possible. Because we shouldn’t have to wait for zombies to appreciate everything this skilled labor force does.
“…dams, bridges, solar farms and high-rises—all being tended to by real workers—are given the hero treatment, with sweeping shots and luxurious sound design (it’s well worth turning these ads up), all creating an intensity that puts the viewer right in the mix with the tradespeople.” - Adweek
